As a subsidiary of First Communications, First Telecom Services operates fiber optic networks in Illinois, Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Maryland, Delaware, and Washington, D.C. Our fiber optic network is made up of more than 4,500 route miles touching over fifty tier 1, 2, and 3 metropolitan service areas. First Telecom Services also has access to a unique combination of assets including rights-of-way, distribution poles, transmission line towers, radio towers, and monopoles located through the operating territory of FirstEnergy's seven principal electric operating subsidiaries. These combined assets enable First Telecom Services to provide a broad range of infrastructure Solutions.
