First Communications has a significant presence in the Illinois, Ohio and Michigan markets as a leading provider of voice and data solutions. The company is colocated in 139 locations with the ability to provide service in more than 600 central offices located throughout eight Local Access and Transport Areas (LATAs), including Chicago, Detroit, Cleveland, Akron and Columbus. First Communications leverages these network assets to provide traditional T1 and Ethernet access to its SME customers.

First Communications’ IP-based technology platform enables delivery of a broad range of next-generation services designed to offer a variety of solutions, including high-speed Internet access, local voice, data transport and managed network services over traditional T1 and Ethernet access.

Superior Customer Support

First Communications provides repair service 24x7x365 through its own call centers and Network Operations Center (NOC) facilities. The BSG operates dual NOCs, located in Pittsburgh, PA, and Chicago, IL, to monitor and maintain the voice, IP and local access networks.
